Jenny Draddy is the owner and Principal of Draddy Legal. Jenny has vast experience in a range of industries that makes her legal expertise unique. Her extensive education qualifications and employment experience detailed below have provided Jenny with a compassionate and holistic approach to her legal practice. When Jenny is not working, she loves to cook, play crystal-singing bowls, and practice the art of Japanese flower arrangement - Ikebana.
Jenny started her working life in nursing and midwifery in Perth and then in Melbourne. She then took a position with the Australian Nursing Federation and had a number of roles which involved appearing before the Industrial Relations Commission, organising and participating in Government and Hospital consultative processes, negotiating enterprise agreements and resolving workplace disputes. She held the position of Women's Officer at the Victoria Trades Council.
On completion of her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws, Jenny did her articles at Howe & Maher and was later made a Senior Associate. Her work there included a Royal Commission, defamation cases, employment contract disputes, commercial litigation, medical negligence claims, claims against the Churches for child abuse and a land rights claim.
She worked in the employment section of Macpherson & Kelley as a Senior Associate. In 2011/12 Jenny did a six month contract with Clark Toop & Taylor working as a senior solicitor doing TAC and medical negligence cases in the Supreme and County Courts. Following this contract, in 2013, she established the firm Draddy Legal.
