NDIS

Jenny has a deep understanding of the needs of NDIS participants, and experience dealing with the legal complexities of the Scheme. She has experience representing NDIS participants in their AAT review applications and is willing to test the entitlements of participants' supports and will work to ensure you receive all reasonable and necessary benefits and entitlements. 

She has experience relating to:

• compensation recovery amounts 
• SDA enrolments. 

She is able to navigate the complexities of the Scheme helping ensure clients secure all reasonable and necessary benefits and entitlements. 

Jenny successfully ran the case Kennedy and National Disability Insurance Agency [2022] AATA 265 (18 February 2022).  This was a landmark decision which established that in construing the NDIS Act and any subordinate legislation made under it, the preferred construction should be to give effect to Australia’s obligations under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
